We arrive at Angkor Peak Sneng JHS
A classrom full of students
The entire class poses with us outside the school
The school's dining area
The dorms for the scholarship students. They live here throughout their studies.
Alison looking at a grade 7 math textbook in the library. It is very similar to
what Canadian students in grade 7 learn!
Alison and the teacher who toured us around the school.
Caitlin and Alison pose outside the main entrance of the school.
The Children's Development Village (CDV) is the orphange we visited.
Caitlin inside one of the dorms for girls. It was very clean
and organized - unlike the dorm for the boys ;)
Art done by children at the orphanage
This art looks a lot like things that we used to make when we were young.
The girl's dorm where the dorm-mother had a dream of a ghost who told
her that to protect the children the dorm had to be painted colourfully.
The garden that feeds all the children in the orphanage.
Caitlin eating a bean fresh from the garden.
The children eat lunch: rice, chicken and greens.
This beautiful girl was one of the least shy children we met. She
would come up to us and giggle (she couldn't speak English).
